The Man Who Beat Cancer

Probably a large majority of our visitors know who Jason Winters is. In case you don't, here's a very brief Bio: Jason was a Hollywood stunt man until, at age 46, he was diagnosed as having terminal cancer in the neck and head.
Ten years after, he was still alive and well, and extremely busy telling the world how he overcame his dread affliction. His book, "Killing Cancer," is an inspirational account of his battle back from the brink of death and it sold more than 1,200,000 copies ~ up to about six years ago. His story is one of resolve, hope, faith, and alternative health practices. On top of that, it's entertaining and interesting from cover to cover ~ well worth reading, if you haven't already.
Ancient Wisdom For The New Age

The Indians had been attacking the wagon train all morning, and Audie Murphy was doing a great job picking them off, one by one. The director called for a lunch break and we all gathered around the chuck wagon ~ all, that is, except the Mexican Indians. They started their usual fire and began making the cactus tea that they drank every day.
How we sophisticated whites would laugh at them while we gorged ourselves on jelly doughnuts, coffee with sugar and cream, and lots of cigars. I had no way of knowing that this special scene would one day, 30 years later, help to save my life. For what all these Indians were doing was purifying their blood on a daily basis, with an herbal tea.
In 1976, when I recovered from terminal cancer, I visited Tibet, the "rooftop of the world." The monastery I stayed at was populated by men all 50 years my senior, or more. I learned more from them about health, happiness and longevity than I could ever have learned from one of New York's top oncologists. For they, too, knew about purifying the blood.
It seems that God placed a certain herb on each continent to purify a person's blood so that their natural immunity could "take care of any disease and heal the body."
God did not just throw us down here saying, "There's 10,000 fast food restaurants, go to it!" He gave us an immune system that allows the body to heal itself. However, it can't do this as long as our blood is so toxic. We have forgotten that it's natural to be healthy, and unnatural to be unhealthy. We have been brought up to believe it's the other way around. This kind of negative thinking brings about disease. Expecting to be ill causes illnesses.
The old man in Tibet said it quite plainly, "Tell the Americans to try expecting the best for themselves, tell them to expect a happy day, a long life and a happy one, for you create your own environment."
The art of imagery bears this out, and is now in use in alternative health clinics around the world. It has been proven that patients can "will" their immune systems to attack the illness or tumors. When it comes to cancer, however, we have a doubly hard job, for we have to deprogram the people first. They have been so brainwashed by thinking that cancer means death. It's not their fault of course, for from birth we hear about Aunt Nellie, Hubert Humphrey, John Wayne and on and on. No wonder when our white-coated genius looks at us and says "cancer," we start dying right away.
The Chinese know that when all hope is taken from a person, they start dying. Tell that same person that they will live, and their body secretes certain chemicals to obey that belief. Doctors call everything that they don't understand "false hope." Well, I want to tell you that there is no such thing as false hope. Hope is faith, and faith can move mountains, so what can it do to a silly little rumor?
I know that you can probably tell me how many people die of cancer each year in America. But I bet you can't tell me how many people beat cancer and go on to live healthy happy lives. I have made it my business to find out, and we are thousands strong.
You know, voodoo only works if the victim is told of the curse against him. His mind does the rest ~ even though quite healthy. Following this thought, how many old movies have you seen where the doctor tells the family, "We have done all we can for Aunt Nellie, the rest is up to her. She must have the will to live." Were the doctors telling us that if we had the will to live we could?
Your mind could be more powerful than you think. It could be responsible for your exact condition today, including health, wealth, and happiness. Doctors tell us that when cancer is diagnosed, they mentally write the patient off. Unfortunately so do the family and friends. Because of these negative vibrations it's pretty hard for someone still in shock over learning they have cancer to pull themselves together and prove the world wrong, but thousands are doing it. We don't care if the medical profession calls it spontaneous remission or not. People are living, and that's the bottom line.
Prince Charles opened up an alternative health clinic for us in England. Can you imagine what courage that took? Orthodox people were most upset, but he didn't back down. The royal family has had their own herbalist for many years now. Many brilliant people around the world are supporting alternative therapy clinics, and we will be accepted one day, as we were in the past.
The very fact that you are reading this article shows that you are on the right path, so watch what you eat and drink, and expect to live a long healthy, happy life, and whether you have cancer or not, you will live up to your expectations.
