From the Holy Scriptures, book of Psalms 33:12 "Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord: and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance." From where we now stand in 1998, it is very obvious that we, as a nation, are dying. In 1905, there was a spiritual revival that swept through our nation with millions giving their lives to Christ and becoming serious Christians.
In many cities, there was virtually no crime, no murders, no robberies, no one to prosecute, and many cities did not know what to do with their police.
A few years earlier, a school in Philadelphia said that they were going to teach morality but didn't need religion to do it. They said that they could surely teach morality without religion or Christianity; but it was such an unorthodox position that the case was taken to the Supreme Court.
Here is the finding which the Court told the school in Philadelphia; "you are going to teach morality, and the purest principles are to be found. Whoever searches for these principles must go to the same source that a Christian derives his faith, and that is from the Holy Bible."
In another case ruling in 1892, the Supreme Court said " our laws and our institutions must necessarily be based on and must include the teachings of the redeemer of mankind. It is impossible for it to be otherwise, in this sense, to this extent, our civilization and institutions are emphatically Christian."
But what has happened to our morality ?
Let's look at what has happened since the 1962 ban on prayer from our schools. Violent crimes are up 544%. Teenaged pregnancies between ages 15-19 are up over 60%; pregnancies between the ages of 9 and 14 are up 553% and reported sexually transmitted disease rose 229%. Divorces increased 118%. Single parents with children have increased 175%, and unmarried couples who live together rose to 355 %.
The national divorce rate is over 50 %, but the divorce rate in homes where there is family prayer and Bible reading is only ONE IN 1,645.
Ninety percent of all children receiving remedial reading in public schools come from broken homes. The Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) scores which are a standard indicator of educational attainment since 1941, have steadily declined. But in direct contrast, students educated in private Christian schools do far better by over 100 points on the SAT. Through research, you will find that on the average it only cost approximately $1200 per student in private schools compared to a cost of $3800 per student enrolled in public schools. Where the basic subjects remain the same for both, the only difference is that Christianity is taught in the private schools and not in our public school systems.
A survey conducted in 1986 proved that 89 percent of the American population wanted prayer back in our schools. Why haven't we returned to prayer in schools??
Because we are a brain-washed society, tricked into servitude by a foreign-sponsored Federal Reserve Bank and their power-elite media that has total control of all news and our failing educational system.
We are involved in a WAR. A war of Good against Evil. A war of Christianity against the antichrist.
That war has come about because good people have done nothing. In 1983, a Lichter-Rothman survey was made of the top 104 media leaders and their moral attitudes. Those interviewed included the elite in Television, Radio, Motion Pictures, and publishing for news and entertainment. 97% of those who most influence our news and entertainment FAVORED ABORTION on demand.
Eighty percent found nothing wrong with homosexuality and 86% advocated hiring homosexual teachers for our children.
Fifty-seven percent expressed a belief that there is nothing wrong with ADULTERY. A startling 44% denied any religion in their lives and 93% did not attend church or any religious services.
Our nation is being flooded with murders in our cities. Our children are being sexually molested at an alarming rate. Rape and sexual assaults are at epidemic levels. Kids are killing kids. Drugs have filled our nation from the White House to main street USA.
Our people cry for JUSTICE but there is NONE.
Take a lesson: Those who do not learn from the mistakes of the past, are proned to repeat them. A home comprised of a father, mother and three children; if lies, deceit, fraud, and unfaithfulness are common place in that home, it will soon split apart. Look at our nations Capital: The head has no morals, our courts have no Justice, our leaders are not faithful to our nation but instead Committed to a New World Order.
The first chapter of the book of Isaiah says "The whole head is sick and the whole heart faint. From the sole of the foot even unto the head there is no soundness in it; but wounds, and bruises, and putrifying sores: They have not been closed, neither bound up, neither molified with ointment."
Your Country (America) is desolate. Your cities are burned with fire. Your land... strangers devour it in your presence and it is desolate, as overthrown by strangers." It is no surprise to me how prophecy comes to pass in our day. Can we do anything ? YES, certainly. As long as there is life, there is a chance to change. There is a way and a path to REBUILD A NATION.
Except the Lord build the house, they labor in vain that build it. Except the Lord keep the city, the Watchman waketh in vain. Wake Up America! It is time to change. It is time to build on the proper foundation. Let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon. For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.
