Branches of Astrology

There are many branches of Astrology, but a few are mentioned here.

Medical Astrology (or Astro-Pathology) which is devoted to diagnosis, healing and prevention of physical and mental ailments through the knowledge of the horoscope.

Astro-Meteorology is the science of predicting the weather from planetary aspects. Our weathermen are just becoming aware of this science, thanks to Joseph A. Goodavage, who was probably the world's top Astro-Meteorologist, and a good friend to Esoteric World News for many years.

Judicial Astrology forecasts events which will come to pass in a country and conditions such as finances, famine, crises and general state of affairs.

Horary Astrology foretells events and answers questions from a chart cast for the exact time of a question: i.e., a chart made for the minute a question is asked, for that date and location. Example questions: Whole stole my pocketbook? When will my mother's health improve? Will I move within the next few months? etc.

Natal Astrology (or Genethialogy) is the casting of a chart (horoscope) for a person which shows the characteristics, temperament, ailments, peculiarities relating to this person and the events which will affect his life.

Natal Astrology is what we will concentrate on in our first lessons, however, after a few lessons, you'll be able to study any of the above and more on your own.
